Bursting onto London’s music scene at the start of 2022, Lucy Lane went off the patriarchy’s script for women and reinvented herself as a thirty-something pop star. With her direct lyrics and distinctive sound, her music explores everything from anger and abandonment to the ever-disappointing experience of dating apps. She wrote her first song at 31, released her first song at 32, and debuted her first music video at 33 - a reminder, for women especially, that dreams can be realised at any age. With her first EP soon to be announced, she’s just getting started, as her musical ambition grows with every milestone.
